L8-SOFTWARE
L8 software is licensed using either Serials or USB dongles. A Serial code can only be used on one computer, while a Dongle can be used on multiple devices. Support for L8 CE licenses using Serial codes is limited to one year, but the Dongle is supported for the lifetime of the product.
Please note that if you have purchased an L8 CE/2/3/4 license using a Serial code, there is no direct path to upgrade to L8 Media, which requires a Dongle license. However, you may be eligible for a discount on a new purchase of a dongle-based L8 license. Upgrading an L8 CE license is only possible to the next L8 CE license, such as CE to CE2 or CE2 to CE3, etc.
