LC Remote Server
License level > TRACE, UNLIMITED
You can use the video material over the network using the LC Remote Server application. The LC Remote Server application must run on the computer that plays the material. The computer running LC Remote Server and the computer running L8 must be on the same network segment.
How to use the LC Remote Server application
1. Copy the LC Remote Server application to the computer that is playing the material.
2. Run LC Remote Server.
3. Drag the target icon in the upper right and drop it in the window playing the material. The name of the targeted window is displayed in the window field.
CAUTION > If a garbled file name is displayed in the window field, the application that manages the target window uses double-byte characters and the LC Remote Server cannot recognize it.
4. Select the channel you want to broadcast from the drop-down list from 1 to 9.
5. Click the Start button and it will be delivered on the network.

NOTE > Depending on the application, a black video source may be displayed even if the target window is specified correctly. This is because the playback application is doing overlay output. Checking "Desktop Composition" on the LC Remote Server may improve the situation.
