Hi there, I have a potential customer trying out Lightconverse in this very moment. They have downloaded the Demo, and they have managed to install it and got a small rig up. Now here is the main question....can they hook up their Chamsys PC to the LC computer and try some vizualisation in the Demo?

Do they need to install Artistic Licence drivers on their LC computer?

Any hints that might be helpfull is apreciated..

I managed to connect my Vista this way, but im not sure how to do it with chamsys.

ps...
Im looking forward to see you in frankfurt.

Hi, Nicklas.
LightConverse will work with Art-Net protocol if Unlimited, Video, Net. or Net-In dongle is plugged in.
Artistic Licence driver installation is not help you, because LightConverse is not use it. 2kozla

Thanks for the fast reply. It keeps amazes me how great the support is.

Then we know how it is....

There would be cool if there where one locked showfile that could not be changed that could be used in the demo for potential customers to try out Lightconverse with, to see how well it works with their consoe, but I understand if it is a hard thing to implement without "locking up" to much...

Thanks
Nicklas

Hello,

I alredy have another vis. (Show Designer) but i find that LC is realy good product, so i have downloaded it today (and find that my grafic card is slow) and i want to try it with my Chamsys PC Wing trough the ArtNet protocol. So, have you make your mind about a scene file that will work for 30min. or somethig similar (one ArtNet univers open)? That would be great 'cose then we can try it in the real conditions, and finaly decide to buy it. I am 90% sure i would. Just want to give it final try. :D

Keep up with good work! 2piva

Regards,
Pero

Hello Pero.
Welcome to the world of LightConverse!
LightConverse will support ArtNet or sACN ethernet protocols with plugged in Net-In dongle minimum. You can play with built in control section to see how your fixtures looks like in the virtual world. Good luck. 2piva

Hi Dmitriy,

I have use internal control, but it is a bit confusing to programm it to me. Still, LC looks great.
BTW. Is it posible to open files from #301 in #243 since that build works faster on my lap-top?

Regards,
Pero
