Hi there,

Just like to say first off, great program! Having a lot of fun, though its taken a wee while to get around to playing with it.

I'm having a slight issue regarding our Martin Mac 250+ m4.

In LC it doesn't appear to have a driver for the 250+ though it does have one for the standard 250. The difference between them is only that the gobo wheel in the 250+ can index (in its first revolution) or rotate (in its second revolution). I realise that i can adapt this in the driver settings but failed miserably :)

Also when using this driver in LC and a 250+ personality on the desk (Avolites Pearl Expert Titan) the colours are all half colours. Can't seem to fix that either. Any ideas?

Yours

Jazz

Hello jhutsby,

Unfortunatly we didn't find any information on MAC250+ to fix your problem. So if you have manual on MAC250+ please send it to me and I'll try create driver on MAC250+ for you.

That would be great!

Attached (hopefully) is the mac250/250+ manual.

In the dmx chart its is 'channel 4 if gobo type = indexed' that the 250+ uses I think.

Any probs drop us an email.

Thanks muchly

Jazz

Hello jhutsby,

Now I can understand what you did mean.
But you must know that we have single channel = single function formula(it means that gobos in case with MAC250 in our software can use or indexing or rotation), in this case multifunctional channels we simulate for most common used function.
This should works fine in FullProcessing mode, because default values on control channels should match implemented mode.
To make sure that you have a right mode programmed, please verify with fixture's manual the control channels values in your show.

In attached zip-file you will find drivers on MAC250 with corrected colors. Unpack it into yours \Lightconverse folder.

Thanks very much for doing that,

Not had a chance to check it out thoroughly yet as we've been pretty busy in the ard running maintenanc etc. so not had the time to hook the desk back up to LC.

Will do so as soon as i can!!

Again many thanks,

Jazz
