Hello I did an upgrade from V:EASY 2.29 to 2.41
I am using V:EASY package: 2048U*

I am not able to add any new moving light / par can ... to a room

I start programm with:
Full Proceess
(select a database)
room

here I can add a 3d model.

I do not find any button to add a moving light.

How do I do that ?

best regards

Dear Pollywog, you are trying to add fixture in a architectural editor?
Don't say to me that in version 229 you do that...
You should open DMX section, not ROOM.
Good luck! :)

 ahm yes thanks, for leading to the right button in the gui ...

But anyway,
Have you again thougt about a GUI like all the other Programms (CAD, Visio, Word, Exel, ...)
All they have a Menu, with Datei, Bearbeiten, Ansicht, ....

It would be much more easy to me finding the point in

Ansicht,
Room
Fixtures
DMX-Setup

as looking for items that have to be idendtified as Buttons

I also prefer the close butten [x] always at the right top of a Box.

It is very strange for me finding the [x] sometimes in the mid of the Box, in the center on top of the box ....

best regards pollywog

Do you think it is necessary to take you for a work, what with your help to think up new GUI? offtopic
Or new 3-D visualization plugin for Exel or Word you will like more?
:?:
Did you really think that you can operate with 16384 lighting DMX parameters at 12 parallel tracks by Menu?
Is Microsoft-style menu better than specialized GUI created special for quick and easy work in special application?
Or may be you have 3D modeling menu-based packages knowledge?

Is small [x] button located in corner better than wide [x] button in the middle (the place where it must be, because this is not Window - this is confirmation dialog, where only one possible answer: Yes)?

Did you read the manual for LightConverse?

(sorry I did not press submit, however it was submitted)

so again:
Menu
Insert
Fixture

would lead me (as sitting in front of a PC at least 4 hours a day) direct to that what I would like to do.

best regards
