Hello LightConverse team.

I have search so and so much on internet about 3d light simulators. Your software really seams to be the best for it price. You have done a so great and huge work.

I still not have bought anything yet. I just want to try and tell you some questions before buy.

I am interested in your unlimited version. I also want one DMX In and one DMX Out. Your LightConverse-1024U seams to be a good choice. But I also see that you sell another box with same In/Out abilities with more functions: Replay-512. But why the Replay-512 is cheaper than the LightConverse-1024U?

Do you offer discount prices if I buy the unlimited version software + a box?

Is it better, in my case, to buy directly from you (I live in Switzerland) or buy an OEM version like V:EASY or Zero88?

I see that you offer 24 month of warranty on hardware and free software upgrade. What do you mean by free software upgrade? Is it only during the first 24 months or lifetime?

If I need a new fixture, how long do you need to create it? And which information do you need to know about the fixture?

Many thanks in advance for your answer.

Hello, Nathanael.

Replay-512 can be used for 512ch. input or output. Input and output in one time not supported by this model. This is why it cheaper than LightConverse-1024U.

All OEM versions of LightConverse has complete technical support of our company. Discount prices we can offer for orders >2500EUR only.
If you need a small discount for LC1024U+Unlimited, please ask by e-mail
office@l8.ltd

Software updates are free during product lifetime. You can download them from website each month.

New fixture you can add manually by "Constructor" section of software. You can ask us for this. It takes about 2-3 days. We need full fixture name for contacting with it manufacturer about technical details.

Hello,

I think I will probably buy your software. It seems to be a good choice. But I still hesitating between two versions: unlimited and net. Do you think it really worth buying the unlimited one? Can you explain me more in details what are the advantages of buying the unlimited one?

I have read that unlimited can simulate video, pyro and laser. But I have not seen anywhere a screenshot nor video with these features used?! Can you show me a little demo?

Thanks!

Kind regards,

Nathanael

Hello, Nathanael.
Unfortunately we don't have now a high-quality videoclip that can show all an opportunity of the LightConverse software.
I can show you a small example of Prolight&Sound-2007 installation. It is short demonstration film which I have written down in the end of the working day, vodka therefore do not judge strictly about quality of a material. :(notes)

You can also see other video that demonstrate stereo-3D effect of anaglyph color separation. You need a special glasses (left-Red, right-Blue+Green) for this. A-NETU

Hello Dmitriy,

Thanks for the videos. They are very useful to me. The result is impresive.

I have a question about licenses. If I buy the "Net" license and later I want to upgrade to "Unlimited", is it possible? How much will I pay? Will it be possible to update (by sofware) the dongle instead of buying a new one (new hardware)?

Thanks.

Kind regards.

Nathanael

Yes, it's posible.
For upgrade from Net. to Unlimited just pay difference and send us serial number of your dongle. Than download a new release of LC software where your dongle already registered like Unlimited. If new version is not released for that time, you can use it's beta (a link will be emailed to you). :D

Wow! Your are so fast at answering!

Now I consider buying the "Net" license instead of the "Unlimited". But with the possibility of upgrading it in the future if I need more.

Just another question to be sure that I do not need now the "Unlimited" license:
Now I do not use video, pyro nor RGB lasers (like in your video demo). But I would have the opportunity to rent the following monochromic lasers:
* Cirrect CRV
* Cirrect Top-1
I have never used before any laser in my light shows. Do you think I could easily simulate them in LC and get trained enough to be able to use them correctly the day I get them in my hands? Or is it too risked? I do not have looked in the LC fixture database if they are present or not, but if not, would it take a long time to you to add them into LC? Certainly more than a PAR or a moving light!?

Thanks!

Kind regards,

Nathanael
